  • What manufacturers does National Auto Academy teach classes for?

We teach classes for all auto manufacturers found in the United States: Acura, Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Ferrari, Fiat, Ford, GMC, Honda, Hyundai, Infiniti, Jaguar, Jeep, Kia, Lamborghini, Land Rover, Lexus, Lincoln, Lotus, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Porsche, Rolls-Royce, Scion, Subaru, Toyota, Volkswagen, Volvo, as well as exclusively pre-owned dealerships.

  • How is National Auto Academy different from other training companies and individual consultants?

We are an academy that takes pride not only in our education, but also in our students and in our results.  Integrity comes first with us.  We stand by what we teach, and we honor what we promise.  And unlike individual consultants or small "companies," National Auto Academy has an entire team of individuals across the United States working for you and for our students and alumni to ensure every party involved accomplishes his or her goals.  This attention to detail to overall satisfaction is why some of the largest dealerships and auto groups in the United States use us for their training and recruiting needs.

  • Why do you charge students to take your classes?

We charge for our classes because we actually give an education.  Our Introduction to Auto Sales class has been approved to teach on college campuses.  This means that it is highly academic in nature.  We do not give motivational speeches for multiple days and call it a class -- students are taking non-stop notes, as well as answering questions, taking tests, and giving actual walk-around presentations.  All that is needed afterwards is for the students to pass their manufacturer certifications and obtain their state sales licenses and they are selling cars -- we are that thorough.  If you do not want to charge the individual student, there are corporate rates available for dealerships.  Please email us at or call us  directly at 1-800-622-4189 for more information and to discuss the various training options we can offer your organization.

  • Can National Auto Academy find and train salespeople for my dealership?

Absolutely!  In fact this is one of our specialties: you simply tell us how many salespeople you need and when you need them by, and we will take care of the rest.  First we will work with you to place ads both online and locally for your dealership.  An instructor will then travel to your location, speak with the candidates and answer questions about our classes.  The class will be conducted on or off-site to those who want to attend, and the instructor will completely train them on the sales processes by teaching our Introduction to Auto Sales course.  You can then interview and hire from the graduating class.  For more specific information, please email us at or call us directly at 1-800-622-4189.

  • I heard that National Auto Academy is "full disclosure," what does that mean?

Simply put, full disclosure means that we are completely honest and upfront with dealerships and students.  There are no "hidden fees" or "catches."  When ads are placed, they specifically state that there are fees for our classes.  When our trainer shows up at your dealership, he or she informs every single candidate about National Auto Academy, the process, and what is involved in becoming a licensed sales professional.  In other words, we have nothing to hide, and we are proud of the services we offer.  When a National Auto Academy trainer shows up at your dealership, you can rest assured that you are in good hands.

  • Can National Auto Academy find and train BDC personnel for my dealership?

Absolutely! For more specific information, please email us at or call us directly at 1-800-622-4189.

  • Which classes can National Auto Academy teach at my dealership?

We can teach all of our courses onsite for your staff.  For more specific information, please email us at or call us directly at 1-800-622-4189.

Dealership Recruitment

  • How is National Auto Academy's recruitment service different from the training classes?

While our training classes can be utilized to train new employees for your dealership in various departments, where our recruitment services excel is in finding highly talented experienced individuals for specific positions.  For example, if you need to hire five new salespeople, we recommend a class.  If you need to hire an experienced salesperson with over three years experience, we recommend our recruitment services.  If you need to get a BDC up and running, we recommend classes.  If you need a BDC manager, we recommend our recruitment service.  We recruit for every position within a dealership including sales, service, administration, accounting, management, and executives.  You tell us exactly what you need and we find it for you.

  • How is National Auto Academy’s recruitment service different from other recruitment services?

National Auto Academy’s recruitment service is different from everyone else for three reasons.  First and foremost, we are car people.  We live, eat, and breathe the automotive industry.  We are not a regular recruitment company who dabbles in the auto industry and doesn’t understand the inner workings of dealerships.  We know the difference between front end and back end profit.  We know after-sale and warranty penetrations.  We know the difference between a four square and a trade appraisal – we speak the lingo because we are exactly like you.  Secondly, recruitment is not the only thing we do.  We are an academy that trains in thousands of dealerships throughout the United States, so in addition to our normal recruitment methods, we have a vast network of Alumni.  In fact, you probably have some of our graduates currently working in your dealership now.  And lastly, because we are an academy first, we can offer our recruitment services for a fraction of the cost that other companies can offer it to you.

  • Why is National Auto Academy’s recruitment service so inexpensive?

NAA was founded on education.  We are the largest automotive sales training company in the United States, and quite frankly, education is our main source of revenue.  Our dealerships were constantly having problems hiring experienced personnel, so we first started doing recruitment to help a few select clients.  Because of our success, this quickly grew into a full department.  We now can offer our services for a fraction of the cost when compared to other recruitment companies because of the sheer volume of recruitment work we do and for the fact that recruitment is not our sole source of revenue – our recruitment department is there to better service our network of dealerships.

  • What are the specific costs involved in recruiting people for my dealership?

Costs vary depending on the positions you want filled.  Call and speak to one of our recruitment specialists for a consultation to find what recruitment methods will work best for your organization.  1-800-622-4189.

  • Do I have to schedule training classes with NAA in order to use the recruitment service?

No, you do not need to schedule training classes with us in order to use our recruitment services.  Our Corporate Training and Recruitment departments are now separate departments and can be utilized independently of each other.  Call us at (800) 622-4189 for a consultation.
